Hey, folks–I have lots of updates for you, so here we go. To give this post a pleasing symmetry, I shall present the news under alliterative headings (why not?).
If you’ve checked out the Books page lately—go ahead, click over there—you’ll see that a lot of news has popped up. Herewith the scoop:
First of all, I’ll be writing two more Seasons books for Kensington Zebra. Yay! They’ll both be Christmas historical romances, with book 3 (SEASON FOR INDISCRETION) out in 2013 and book 4 planned for 2014. And book 3? Yep, that’ll be Jane’s story. If you’ve read SEASON FOR SURRENDER, you met not only Jane, but also her hero. Care to guess who he is?
And in other news, next fall, I’ll kick off a new historical romance trilogy for Sourcebooks! These won’t be Christmas stories, but they’ll still be set in the Regency time period I love so much. Lots of details are still in the works, but I’ll let you know more soon. For now, I can say—these are the most unusual heroes I’ve ever written, and I hope you like meeting them as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them.
While you’re waiting anxiously for these books (aww, you’re so sweet!), there are oh-so-many chances to win prizes. This month I’m taking part in two blog events: Twelve Days of Christmas, hosted on USA Today’s Happy Ever After blog (November 5-20), and Romancing the Holidays, hosted on The Romance Dish (November 30). Each one will have lots of giveaways; you can find more details here. Hope to see you there!
To get you in the mood, the November contest prize includes the winner’s choice of a book by an author in the Twelve Days or Romancing the Holidays event (plus a signed copy of my debut, SEASON FOR TEMPTATION). As usual, entry is easy–right here on the Contest page.
And woot!–one more bit of news: SEASON FOR SURRENDER is the November book club pick on the fantastic romance site Smart Bitches, Trashy Books. There will be a text chat near the end of the month, and I’ll join in for part of it. Once we have a date set, I’ll let you know.
